Choosing the right bag and size is essential to ensure comfort during performances. There are essentially three categories of bags: synthetic fabric, natural leather (usually sheepskin), and hybrid bags, which consist of a layer of bovine leather on the outside glued to a waterproof synthetic fabric layer (Gore-Tex) on the inside. After years of experimentation, I have personally come to prefer hybrid bags for various reasons and have chosen to offer them permanently in our store, in line with our philosophy of only offering the best products.

The presence of a zipper is also essential, as it allows for easy access to the inside of the bag, making it easier to handle the moisture control system, drone valves when present, and even to retrieve any fallen reeds inside the bag.
